FINALLY! It’s April. Oh I have been waiting for this month since the last week of February. I survived my 3-month PR stint that ended with a Mercury-in-retrograde’d junket in Davao. It was an experience I’d rather forget but appreciate since everyday was a test of character. Now back to focusing on adding more meat to my stories and getting other photo-related work done.
Just right after I kissed PR good bye for the nth time, my friend Chef Brando commissioned me a photo job that I simply cannot refuse. The task was to document the practice sessions of a culinary school. This is actually my second time to take pictures of the school. And same as last year, it took three long days with baking temps inside the kitchen (less yelling though) and tons of good food. One of the dishes that was prepared for competition was rabbit meat. Even if it has been 10 years since my rabbit “Ibazeta” disappeared, I refused to eat the cooked rabbit thrice who they dubbed as “Roger” the namesake of our beloved family driver. Call me boring but I’ll just stick to scallops.
