Photography teaches me two things. First, it teaches me about people, and how they make my life richer. Second, it teaches me humility, because it’s a difficult craft. You intrude into other people’s lives – their agony, misery, joy – and no one has the right to do that. If you don’t have their consent, this kind of photography will slap you in the face.
